Boat Parking

Parking bays are allocated to members once they have paid their membership fees and received their parking stickers. You can then contact the yard manager – Mr Gerard Boylan and choose your preferred parking bay.

Bays are divided into 3 different widths and will be allocated based on your boat type.

I.E. if you own a Wayfarer you will be given a choice of all available 250cm wide bays.
      If you own a GP14 you will be given a choice of all available 210cm wide bays etc.

• All boats must be parked in the boat-yard of the club and within the parking bays designated by the Yard Manager.

• Only boats owned by paid-up members of SSC will be permitted to use the boat-yard.

• All boat owners using the boat parking facility must pay the relevant parking fees in advance of parking their boat and must clearly display a valid parking sticker on the boat.

• Boat owners will be allocated a designated parking space on a 1st paid up basis in accordance with the guidelines established by the committee and managed by the Yard Manager

• Boat owners are permitted to use such facilities at the discretion of the Committee.

• Spaces are allocated primarily on a 1st paid basis and then according to boat size.

• Road Trailers are NOT permitted in the yard unless they can be safely stored within your parking bay
  
  
• Temporary Parking facilities and parking-bays are available for a maximum duration of 2 weeks. Temporary permits are available from the Yard Manager.
  
  
• During open events, the Yard Manager & Committee may temporarily move any boat from its parking bay.
  
  
• SSC accept no liability for loss or damage to any boat or equipment stored on its property.
