BREAK-IN AT RUSH SC.
The yard gate was removed at Rush SC last night & engines stolen. Thieves are about and almost certainly targeting Skerries too. Please take all precautions with your gear and where possible all cruisers should be removed from the boat-yard at this stage.

SEAFOOD BUFFET

RACING THIS WEEK
Wednesday racing is scheduled for19:45 (19:30 keelboat). HW is 15:30hrs. Punt is on from 17:00hrs. Forecast is for winds to abate to NW F4-5.

RACING THIS WEEKEND
Sunday racing is at 11:00hrs.(10:45 keelboat). HW is 07:20hrs. Current forecast is for ENE F4-5 however, this will depend on the speed of the low pressure system forecast to move across Ireland.

FREE LECTURE ON RACING RULES & PROTESTS
Thursday 30th May at 8pm in the clubhouse, the ISA will provide an interesting and incisive talk on the Racing Rules and on lodging and handling protests. This is ESSENTIAL knowledge for anyone interested in participating either as crew or helm and comes highly recommended. Make sure you come along. Non-members also welcome.

CREWS AND HELMS
If you are new to the club scene or if you are without a crew or helm for the coming season, then please let us know by replying to this email and we will endeavor to get you sorted out with sailing opportunities.

ADULT SAILING TASTER LESSONS
On Saturday 18th May and also on Saturday 25th May we are inviting all new & nearly new members to the club to try their hand at sailing on either dinghy or keelboat. You will get the chance to either helm or crew alongside an experienced club member on their boat. You will also get the chance to meet with like-minded people and have a bit of a laugh both on the water & in the bar afterwards. ATTN RIB QUALIFIED DRIVERS
If you completed a RIB driving course in recent years and are keen to maintain or improve your driving skills the club has plenty of opportunities for you to do so during the season. If you have lost your bar-card please email the membership secretary Siobhan Boylan on membership@skerriessailingclub.com to request a replacement. For the coming season bar prices will be higher for non-members or those who do not
